Max Burnett is a travelling wedding photographer based in Jersey. With over 7+ years refining his style and approach to documentary / adventure photography.

 

Prior to working with Max on the development of his branding we have always admired the style of his documentary, adventure lead photography.

 

When designing the new brand the adjectives that best resonated with the brand’s essence were; Adventure, nature, luxe and simplicity. Based on this we created a timeless urban brand that works effortlessly with Max’s photography style. As part of the project we designed the brand for both the wedding and corporate side of the businesses which included digital brochures, website style sheets, embossed business cards and covers and advert layouts.

“Having known Emma through the wedding industry and her excellent stationery, I was keen to see what could be achieved for my own photography brand. I had an idea for the kind of wedding photography I wanted to photograph, as well as the clientele that I was after. But trying to put this on paper and envision this as a visual brand is where I came into difficulty.

 

I can’t believe how much we got done in the first 90-minute session. As I watched Emma pull together colours, shapes and typefaces, there were multiple options appearing as we churned through different options. From that very first session, Emma was able to curate four viable options and it was difficult to choose, as they were all great.

 

Since then, Emma has helped refine and expand on my branding, a visual language that she helped extract from my head, and that I am now able to showcase to potential clients. Her expertise and creativity is second to none, and we are still working together, constantly evolving the brand and I can’t recommend her enough.
